In our 9/10 review of the Definitive Edition that landed on consoles and was a free update to the PC version, Steve heralded it as “almost certainly the finest RPG experience on the current generation of consoles.” We were also rather impressed by the game on Nintendo Switch, though that version was clearly lesser than the other releases. We assume that list will grow as Apple releases new versions of the iPad and iPad mini in 2021 or 2022. You need an A12X chipset or better (the regular A12 in the current iPad 8th Gen and iPad mini 5th Gen won’t cut it), and so the only non-Pro iPad that can play this game is the 2020 iPad Air with the A14 chipset. ![]() That’s as low as you can go with the supported systems, though.
